NM-OATH designs programming for duplication or modification by other nonprofits seeking to promote vigilance, systemic change, and victim support. Community action plans seed and support small communities with information, training, technical assistance, communication strategies, and action steps toward rights-based responses to human trafficking and responsible consumerism. Victim service programming ensures state-wide short-term service referrals and housing situations for human trafficking victims. Research library and educational materials are developed in-house and posted for public download. B/W photography exhibition memorably accompanied by captions that piece together the narrative of human trafficking. Municipal activities & public programming includes festival and parade participation and programs such as the public coffee house movie series, book club and lecture programming, public service announcements, and merchant/fair trade programming. Border state collaborations with other border state organizations hone responses to trafficking and fair trade programming. Organizational presentations and training includes webinars and presentations to local, state-wide, and national venues. Website and social networking allow for ease of public access using contemporary technology. Survivor product sales - planned display of survivor-made products to promote survivor empowerment and fair trade as both a local and global endeavor
NM-OATH raises public awareness about the pervasiveness of the human trafficking epidemic, provides empowerment tools, fosters both non-governmental and governmental partnerships in joint action against human trafficking, and promotes effective rights-based responses to instances of modern slavery.
