This is a STEM (This is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related program. New Mexico STARBASE La Luz is part of the national DoD STARBASE program that provides elementary school students with an opportunity to explore physics, chemistry, technology, engineering, mathematics operations and applications, and STEM careers. The New Mexico STARBASE La Luz program is conducted through the AFRL La Luz Academy located at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque.
