New Mexico Symphonic Chorus

Mission/Vision: Our Mission is to promote the artistic, musical, and cultural development of New Mexico's youth through choral education and performance.

Our Goals:

1. To provide and augment quality choral performance opportunities in order to provide a well-rounded education for Albuquerque area youth
2. To provide singers with the necessary tools needed for optimal performance experiences including the study of music theory/music history, and honing of sight-reading skills through choral literature
3. To teach proper, age-appropriate vocal technique
4. To develop self-discipline and self-esteem through rehearsals and mastery of music repertoire that enables life success for youth
5. To provide performance opportunities that demonstrate developed musical skills for family, friends, and the community
6. To provide a positive learning environment and a team-building experience through diversity and group success that builds on individual success.
