New Mexico Veterans Upward Bound

NMVUB works with former military members in Bernalillo, Colfax, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe and Taos counties.  We are veterans helping veterans to go to a college, technical school or university of their choice. Veterans Upward Bound programs, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, are designed to assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of post-secondary education. NMVUB provides highly individualized goal planning, academic assessment and enrichment of basic skills needed to succeed in school.   Through instruction, advising, tutoring, career mapping and local resource referral services, NMVUB will help you achieve your educational goals. The primary purpose of the program is to increase the rate at which former military members enroll in and complete post-secondary education programs. All VUB services are free to eligible participants and do not effect military education benefits.
