We are not attorneys, rather an information resource here to assist both landlords and tenants. We provide information for young families regarding the dangers of lead ingestion in young children. We inform consumers of Fair Housing laws as they pertain to rental properties. We provide information to young adults regarding the serious consequences and responsibilities incurred when signing a contract to rent.
We sponsor a minimum of six workshops for landlords, property managers and tenants. Two of these workshops have been approved by the NM Real Estate Commission for 5 continuing education credit hours. Two of these workshops are geared to tenants and the other to unlicensed landlords. We post a column on the City of Santa Fe website, TENANT TALK, that helps tenants to resolve conflicts with their landlords. We publish and distribute a newsletter, THE LANDLORD'S GUIDE, six times annually.
