Nonviolence Works, Inc.

The mission of NonviolenceWorks (NVW) is to inspire, train and empower all people to lead lives of nonviolence. Our purpose is to advance nonviolence as a standard of behavior that simultaneously prevents violence and promotes respectful and productive community life. We accomplish this through a comprehensive set of programs that offers support or interventions for males and females of all ages, provides a volunteer opportunity for everyone, and which seeks systemic change through extensive collaborations in the educational, business, healthcare and judicial sectors. The gender-specific Men Engaged in Nonviolence (MEN) and Women in Nonviolence (WIN) programs are mirror images of each other. They overlap to provide personal growth gender reconciliation and partnership, build strong relationships and families, and effect community change.
