Vocational Rehabilitation is a service of the Federal Government and the Navajo Tribe that provides goods or services necessary to render a disabled individual employable. Rehabilitation services are provided, on an individual basis, services are provided according to an individual's particular needs toward eventual employment. Provisions of services are as follows: *diagnostic-related services; *Native Healing Science, guidance counseling and referral, *mental-physical restoration, vocational and other training services, *tuition, books-supplies, personal needs, allowances, room-board, transportation, job placement, *tools, equipment, initial stocks, supplies and occupational licenses, axillary sensory (deaf-blind) disabled services, reader services, interpreter services, etc., post employment services, and independent living services. *Indicates that those services are conditioned on financial need.
Provides vocational rehabilitation services to eligible Navajo People with disabilities who
are interested in going to work. The goal of Vocational Rehabilitation is to assist people
with disabilities to obtain or maintain employment.
