Parents as Teachers Home-Visiting Program

Parents are their child's first and most important teacher! We use an evidenced-based curriculum that empowers parents to BE their child(ren)'s teacher. We provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. And, we offer these services in both English and Spanish. Our goal is to reach as many families as possible in the south valley who are expecting or who have children ages from birth to 3 years of age.  We offer trained parent educators to meet with families in their homes, health, hearing, vision and developmental screenings, opportunities to meet other parents, and assistance locating resources.  The national website is:  http://www.parentsasteachers.org
