Adult In-Home Care Services

In-home personal care services (PCS).  Individuals needing in home care are automatically qualified if they already receive Medicaid or Medicare benefits. Caregivers provide professional assistance to individuals who otherwise would struggle to maintain independence. Those receiving care may choose to participate either in a delegated or directed model. The directed model allows for patients to choose their own qualified caregivers to help them with everyday activities such as hygiene and grooming, mobility assistance, transportation, light household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, running errands, making and keeping appointments, and medication reminders.
