Prairie Dog Pals has three programs: Education: We seek to educate the general public about prairie dogs and their importance in the prairie ecosystem. Stewardship: Volunteers maintain urban prairie dog colonies through monitoring, supplemental feeding, and re-vegetation. Rescue: Volunteers capture and relocate prairie dogs that are threatened by habitat loss or human conflict.
Prairie Dog Pals is a 501(c)3, not for profit charity, dedicated to the preservation of prairie dogs and their habitat.
