The Sandia National Labs Robotic Training Institute partners with Sandia National Labs to provide a group of students career readiness training through a STEM robotics immersion class and Life Launch Academy studies. Students will attend a week long camp, that both houses and transports students to the camp daily. Students will spend mornings in learning about robotics, listening daily to a speaker from one of Sandia Lab's employees, and an afternoon attending Life Lauch Academy sessions where students will learn about preparing for the future, developing a career plan, writing resumes, and identifying future opportunities to become part of the STEM pipeline. After attending this week long camp, students are then given internships through R4 Creating to work at Outreaches, Camps, and attend a KRQE segment on the Sandia Labs Robotic Training Institute follow up.
At R4Creating, our mission is to provide training for students and support for organizations that are making valuable contributions to increase the number of both STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and Career Readiness Opportunities for students. We strive to offer students a competitive advantage that links their potential to a strong and successful future that leads them into a STEAM Career Pipeline.
