RAIN periodically holds meetings downstairs in the Raton Convention Center for representatives of agencies and organizations providing services in our region as well as for concerned community members. Meetings are both informational and collaborative. Our meetings are open to the public.
RAIN faciltates developing operational action plans to address behavioral health and substance abuse issues affecting the quality of life in our communities. We currently have three Action Teams addressing the underlying causes for behavioral health and substance abuse issues: 1) Children, Youth & Families; 2) Housing, Shelters & Transportation; and 3) Medical & Behavioral Health. We are currently working to develop activities and programs addressing underlying issues in those three areas. At this time, we are not a direct service provider but rather refer individuals to available community resources. To find out more about our efforts, please email Info@RAINColfax.org.
RAIN seeks to alleviate the effects of behavioral health and substance abuse issues on individuals and families in our communities by addressing the underlying causes and facilitating effective interagency communication within our region..
