Rio Grande Food Project/

Food Pantry*

The Rio Grande Food Project food pantry provides supplemental and emergency food to hungry New Mexican children, youth, adults and seniors in the Albuquerque metro area. Households can pick up a week’s worth of groceries once a month (visits must be 30 days apart).

What you need to bring: a photo ID, or a copy or picture of a photo ID (if available) for all adults in the household and some form of documentation to show guardianship of any children (under the age of 18) in the household (Medicaid card, social security card, birth certificate, etc.).

Food boxes are distributed according the number of persons in the household and include commodities, fresh produce/bread, dry, canned and frozen food. Food is purchased from Roadrunner Food Bank and other food distributors.
