Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA): recruiting and training of volunteers who advocate for children involved in the court system. We have county coordinators that oversee the volunteers' investigations, reporting and court attendance. CASA volunteers work on cases within the Seventh Judicial District an speak on behalf of children involved. Servicing Sierra, Socorro and Torrance Counties, with offices in Truth or Consequences, Socorro and Estancia. (The main office is in Truth or Consequences).
The mission of the Rio Grande Valley CASA is to support effective volunteer advocacy in the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in the Seventh Judicial District court system. Our vision is to ensure that every child has a safe, loving and permanent home.
