Provides services for the elderly aimed at securing and maintaining maximum independence and dignity for older persons with emphasis on preserving home environment and self care, with appropriate supportive services and long term care provided as needed. The various service programs include transportation, home chores, home health services, nutrition services, dental care, information and referral, outreach, legal services, senior center activities, noon meals, home-delivered meals, visitation, and all services, except dental, are provided through contracts with local service providers.
