Corrales Community Library Pollinator Garden
Sandoval County Master Gardeners/

Corrales Community Library Pollinator Garden

We are proposing to establish a pollinator garden on the east side the Corrales Community Garden.  Currently, there is a Mother's Garden in the northeast area of the library and a Children's garden in the southeast corner.  The proposed pollinator garden would be in between these gardens and serve as a connector.  We propose that this space will be a demonstration garden for all users of the library and serve to teach people about the wide variety of pollinator plants that may be planted to provide food and shelter for pollinators year round.  This space will be developed and maintained by the master gardeners with the coopration of Corrales Parks and Recreations (whose director has volunteered to put in the drip irrigation needed for the space).
