To provide services to senior citizens residing in Sandoval County to promote and prolong independence and encourage a better quality of life. 1) Nutritious meals in Congregate Dining Environment and for Home Bound Seniors 2) Assisted Transportation to Senior Centers, Health Care appointments, Trips, etc. 3) Homemaker (light housekeeping) Services, Respite for Caregivers, Case Management 4) Volunteer Programs (senior companion, foster grandparent, retired senior volunteer program & senior employemtn program).
The Sandoval County Senior Program mission is to provide a continuum of social support and health services which meet the needs of older individuals and maximize independence, so that they may live life on their own terms in their own communities. The Sandoval County Senior Program is dedicated to improve the quality of life of our citizens by providing access to culturally sensitive and comprehensive health and social services.
