The Philanthropy HUB

The Philanthropy HUB at the Santa Fe Community Foundation has been designed as a learning and gathering place for the philanthropic sector. Nonprofit board and staff members, philanthropists, and the general community have attended hundreds of learning opportunities since we moved to Halona Street in 2011. Signature programs

  • Learning Labs  - annual series of short workshops addressing nonprofit management, including board management, communications, finance, fundraising, planned giving, equity, and organizational development.
  • Board Orientation Program with SCORE Santa Fe - 2 annual cohort comprising 6 learning sessions for active board members addressing the essentials of board service.
  • Emerging Social Sector Leaders - Immersive leadership development program for those nonprofit practitioners ready to take a deeper dive into their career trajectory and skills.
  • Exeutive Director Learning Circle - Ongoing peer group for current executive directors. Discussion topics have addressed staffing, revenue generation, board diversity, working with local government, and tax policy.
  • New Mexico Women of Color NOnprofit Leadership Initiative - The long-term goals of the Initiative are to build the leadership capacity and practical skills of participants and, ultimately, to see a sustainable increase in nonprofit leadership roles filled by women of color.
