The Homeschool Classroom is a new concept in learning designed for children ages 5-14. Santa Fe learners can participate from 6-28 hours per week, depending on the instructional support and socialization hours that parents design into their overall educational plan.
At The Homeschool Classroom, children receive individual and small group instruction in Math and Language Arts to ensure the establishment of primary skills in a comfortable, small-group atmosphere that embraces each child’s innate gifts and unique qualities, facilitating an environment for discovery, truth, compassion and growth.
We also run an aftecare program for students whose parents work past school hours. This includes art projects, games, arts and crafts, snacks and homework help.
Child-centered learning, critical theory, and promoting success for ALL student learning styles, especially for children who have not enjoyed their learning experiences in other settings.
The building blocks of a multicultural/humanistic approach foster cooperative yet independent learning.
Surrounding children in a loving and disciplined learning environment that boosts communication and problem solving skills, students learn how to be in control of their own learning.
The mission of the Santa Fe Learning Center (SFLC): We provide direct instruction in Reading and Math via The Homeschool Classroom to elementary students who have not been successful in other learning settings.
