Save the Children is a sponsorship organization that supports training, technical assistance, and community organizing needs for out of school times (after school program and in school enrichment programs). They focus on health, education, and economic development (youth development).
We work in over 200 of the poorest communities in rural America helping hundreds of thousands of children each year. At the U.S. Souther Border, in collaboration with our partners, we are supporting respite shelters and welcome centers for Asylum seeking children and families. At these locations families have access to a meal, fresh clothes, hot showers, family and children’s backpacks as well.
