Our residents will be able to stay in Sheri's House of Hope up to 18 months while they learn how to rebuild their lives and become productive citizens. Our staff and professionals will be teaching them how to survive and become a better role mother for their children, therefore stopping the cycle of domestic violence in their family and build better generations for the future. They will learn life skills, health and nutrition, mental support, financial responsibilities, personal growth, how to dress for success and learn how to do job interviews. We will help them get their GED's and further their education by working with the NMJC. Both mother and children will have counseling to help them understand that to live in fear is not a normal way of life. The children will have a safe, secure and stable home where they can attend school which will help with our truancy problem and homelessness
Our mission is to spread awareness and prevention of domestic violence and provide a safe home to educate and give hope to women and their children
