We provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy to special needs children - specializing in the use of hippotherapy (using the movement of the horse) and equine assisted therapy activities - since 1982. We provide American Hippotherapy Association approved educational courses in the use of hippotherapy as a treatemnt tool to professionals nation wide. We are involved in research of the effectiveness of hippotherapy through the Univeristy of New Mexico. We have helped to establish the national standards of practice and accreditation process for therapists using hippotherapy as part of their clinical practice. We produce the PRCA Exceptional Rodeo program for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association which is a recreational event designed to pair pro rodeo contestants with special needs children in a modifed rodeo event.
