The Socorro County Senior Services Program offers services to local seniors such as congregate meals, home delivered meals, transportation, assisted transportation, homemaker services, chore services and senior recreation opportunities.

Senior Volunteer Programs:

  • The Socorro County Senior Volunteer program gives seniors ages 55+ the opportunity to utilize your skills in our community.
  • The Foster Grandparent volunteers provide one-on-one support to those children with special and/or exceptional needs. The Foster Grandparent Program offers volunteer opportunities to low-income senior citizens 60 years of age and older. The volunteers are provided a $2.45 per hour stipend as to allow them to provide their services at no cost to themselves.
