The Southwest Region serves Jicarilla, Laguna, Mescalero, Picuris, San Juan, Santa Clara, Taos, Tesuque, Ramah Navajo, Acoma, Isleta, Sandia, Santa Ana, Ysleta del Sur, Southern Ute, Ute Mountain Tribe, and Zuni. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is responsible for administering law enforcement, and federal programs for Indian tribes, and promoting Indian self-determination.
