St. Michael's High School

2019 will mark the 160th anniversary of St. Michael’s High School, which thrives today as one of New Mexico's leading private schools and most historic school in all of New Mexico. Sam Govea has served as the principal since July 2010 and Taylor Gantt as president since May 2014.  The school's Lasallian mission is to give a "human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor and underserved."  Currenlty a co-ed school serving students in 7-12th grade, the school focuses on providing a rigorous, well-rounded, college preparatory education to all those who seek it, regardless of financial means.  The school is known for its strong athletic reputation, polite, hard-working, and courteaous students, and is known by many colleges as having the premier math and english curriculums in all of northern New Mexico.
