Saturday STEM Academy
STEM is Childs Play Foundation/

Saturday STEM Academy

SATURDAY ACADEMY will address the lack of diversity in STEAM fields. Our programming is offered for elementary, middle school and high school students exploring STEAM fields, preparing them for academic success in these fields by providing support for parents and students.  We do this by creating and attaining goals, providing a pipeline to future programming, and instilling the belief that they can succeed!

  • We will provide academic preparation, as well as support for parents and students to create and attain goals.  If we support parents, they will support their kids.  We have to show/teach them how to do this.
  • Via our programming, we will be a pipe line for these parents/students to explore career paths.
  • We will provide tutoring and test prep programming so students will do well on the Common Core exams, as well as be prepared and excel in high school.
  • We will instill confidence and build self-esteem in students by preparing them by participating in local, regional and national STEAM competitions.
  • We develop individualized plans (goals) for parents and students with options to attain their goals and become successful via our pipelines and continued support.
  • We provide continued support throughout high school to ensure they graduate from high school.
