A group of parents seeking supports for their adult children with developmental disabilities, pioneered early efforts in organizing services that resulted in the incorporation of Taos County Arc in October 1973. Within five Years, services expanded, serving the entire County of Taos. In 1982 services to children with developmental delays began as Los Angelitos Early Childhood Services to eligible children,adults and families throughout Taos County and Southwest Colfax County.
