Volunteer Programs

Foster Grandparent Program:Adult volunteer (55 and up) serve as mentors and/or tutors to children in Head Start Centers, schools, and youth groups settings. Volunteers pass on language tradition, share cultural values, and help students make academic gains. Foster Grandparent will have two students they are assigned too, to work within the classroom

Senior Companion Program:Adult volunteer (55 and up) provides assistance and friendship to older adults (frail) who have difficulty with daily living tasks, such as shopping, paying bills, going to the doctors, filling out forms or needing assistance with ADLs or dressing, meal prep or participating in social activities. We help these adults to remain living in their homes independently.
