Three Sisters Kitchen

Three Sisters Kitchen is a non-profit community food space that uses the power and love of local food to improve community health, create economic opportunity, and bring our diverse communities together around the table.

  • We improve community health through our food access programs - connecting food insecure households to free, fresh, locally-grown produce and staple foods; through community-based nutrition and cooking education for adults, kids and families; and through food and nutrition training for home-based child care providers, home health aides, and other healthcare providers;
  • We foster food-based economic development through our Food Business Training Program which provides 90 hours of hands-on education and wrap-around services to low-income aspiring food business entrepreneurs in our Commercial Test Kitchen; through our Local Foods Shop and Cafe which highlights locally grown ingredients and features locally produced retail goods, and in our Indoor Winter Evening Market which connects local food producers with consumers in the heart of downtown Albuquerque providing opportunities for new and emerging entrepreneurs to test the market in a low-risk supportive environment;
  • We build community through hosting community meals and events to share food, stories, and build relationships around the table.
