True Kids 1 (TK1) is a Taos, NM based educational non-profit with the mission to provide NM students with media skills, tools and opportunities which open career paths and promote digital citizenship. We partner directly with public and charter schools to offer an educational media production and literacy curriculum for K-12 classrooms supported by professional workshops and real-world, project based learning. In-school, after school and out-of-school programs are available.
The mission of True Kids 1 is to empower youth with the skills, tools and opportunity to express themselves through radio and video production, to the benefit of themselves and the community.
