Our program focus is to provide low to middle income, working-class young adults/families access to the financial tools necessary to succeed with day to day money management. Our organization was originally established as a financial educator, and we have taught in-person classes for over seven years. Through our experience, we discovered that financial education is ultimately more effective through learning by application rather than instruction. As a result, our team developed a free budgeting mobile app uniquely designed to address common financial missteps, allowing users to create a budget, plan out their monthly cash flow, and manually track expenses. In an effort to achieve a greater impact, we have developed an enhanced offering of our technology with premium features that significantly increase financial performance. The premium version of our app enables automated spends tracking, easy access to financial coaching through an in-app chat feature, and personalized recommendations for improving financial conditions. Active users of our technology have improved their financial situation anywhere from $50-$200 per month and beyond. Learning by application through the integration of technology and access to real-person support is the most effective way to achieve this outcome.
