SparkPoint centers are one-stop, family-friendly sites where hard-working, low-income individuals can access a full range of services to help them get out of poverty. To date, 20+ service locations are open. Based on strong, local partnerships between non-profits and government entities, SparkPoint centers meet clients where they are and help them start to build assets, grow income, and manage debt in order to move them and their families toward financial stability. While the concept of a one-stop resource center is not new, our SparkPoint service locations elevate and improve upon previous one-stop models through service bundling and one-on-one financial coaching.
Centers provide the following comprehensive menu of services:
1. Financial coaching
2. Credit counseling and repair
3. EITC and Tax Assistance
4. Higher education
5. Career development
6. Savings and IDA Account
7. Homeownership
