UNM Gallup Adult Education Center is one of the 24 programs in the state of New Mexico. Our classes are FREE and will prepare students to take the HiSET test. Our classes are also available for those with a high school diploma who need a refresher course before being able to take courses at college. Our teachers are experienced and dedicated.
Our program is year-round, based on a quarter-system of four seven-week sessions per year. The classes are free and HiSET testing is available on site (similar to a GED). We are located on Gallup's Northside with easy access from I-40, Rt. 66, Hwy 491 and public transportation.
