Prepare for High School Equivalency (HiSET or GED®) or College Entrance Exam (ACT Compass®) with our College and Career Readiness classes offered in both Spanish and English; ESL classes; career development classes; work with a tutor either one-on-one or in a small group to learn the reading, writing, and computer literacy skills needed for everyday living.
Classes are offered during the days and evening or via our Distance Education Program. We also have a computer lab for independent work and the help of volunteer tutors to provide one-on-one instruction.
The Taos Education and Career Center (TECC) at UNM-Taos Adult Education Services Prepare High School Equivalency (HiSET or GED®), gain reading and writing skills for everyday life, learn English, and prepare for career and college. Classes are offered in-person during the day and evening. One-to-one tutoring is available, and students can also choose to study online via our distance learning platforms. Get started on training pathways (EMT-Basic, CNA, CDL) in a supported environment, while also completing a High School Equivalency or upskilling for the workplace
