1) Primary adult medical health care. 2) X-ray, Laboratory and Pharmacy on a limited basis. 3) Mental health and substance abuse aftercare counseling as well as social work services. 4) Patient education classes for patients and family members. 5) Information and referral services for Specialty Clinics, at the Albuquerque, VAMC. 6) Pre-hospital and post-hospital aftercare services. The VA Community Clinic is not set up to provide care after office hours. Also, there are no emergency services available or VA physicians on call. The Farmington based Clinic is the first VA Rural Health Clinic in the nation, and is the latest VAMC response to improving accessibility to VA services for all veterans in New Mexico. Patient seen by appointment, no walk-ins.
