YouthWorks specializes in comprehensive programs designed to assist youth to develop social, leadership and workforce skills, and to expand educational opportunities.. YouthWorks serves youth ages 15-24, the majority of whom are non-traditional learners and are considered “drop-outs” by society. YouthWorks programs feature paid job skills-training combined with GED coursework and trades or professional certifications. Youth who are engaged in YouthWorks programs are served by no-fee counseling and intensive personalized case management services to assist them to overcome personal, familial, legal and social obstacles.
YouthWorks has developed a programmatic model that is designed to positively impact high risk, drop-out youth through teaching practical skills. Our focus is to impart social skills; foster leadership development and community engagement; teach positive behavior, communication skills and responsibility through classroom based and hands-on education leading to employment and career.
YouthWorks’ mission is to remain dedicated to helping youth develop the necessary life skills to become active, productive participants in their community.
