CLNKids provides a year-round, high-quality early childhood development program for children experiencing homelessness, ages 6 weeks to 5 years; case management and parent life skills classes; and support services that assist their families to become re-housed and stronger. At CLN, the whole family is supported. By using a strength-based approach to work with children and families experiencing homelessness, CLN provides the opportunity for families to grow, to learn, and to become self-sufficient and successful. 74% of families who complete the program at CLN achieve stable housing.
CLNkids’ (formerly “Cuidando Los Niños”) mission is to provide high-quality, trauma-informed, strengths-based early childhood education and therapeutic services to address the unique needs of children experiencing homelessness; to provide support services that assist families to become re-housed and more resilient; and to be a community leader and advocate for social change to end child homelessness in our community.
