Early Head Start is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families with pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age 3. EHS promotes the school readiness of children by enhancing their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Early Head Start programs also provides or links families with needed services
Mission Statement: To assist low-income people in eastern New Mexico Counties of: Quay, Harding, Union, De Baca, Guadalupe, Curry, and Roosevelt and provide services that empower, educate and enable them to become self-sufficient.
Eastern Plains CAA, Inc., is a private non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status incorporated in 1969 for the purpose of providing social service programs for the low-income population of the agency’s service area which encompasses seven counties of Eastern New Mexico.
