Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act

The EEOICPA is the Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act which provides benefits and compensation to United States Department of Energy workers. The United States Department of Justice works with and helped to establish RECA or Radiation Exposure Compensation Act. With EEOICPA benefits, former workers may be eligible to receive the following regarding their approved illness(s):

  • A $150,000 compassionate settlement (Tax Free)

  • Access of up to $250,000 in impairment rating settlement (Tax Free)

  • Home health care services

  • 100% medical coverage for illnesses caused by exposure to toxic substances

  • Travel reimbursement for medical treatments

  • Durable medical equipment or medical devices for treatment of covered condition(s)

  • Coverage of prescription medications related to covered conditions

ALL OF THIS IS AVAILABLE WITH NO OUT OF POCKET COSTS TO THE PATIENT
