Housing Program

We build safe, affordable for qualified, low-income families in need.  These homes are not free, but there is an interest-free, 30 year mortgage which helps a family build credit.  There are several requirements for the program including:

1)  You must be a US citizen and have lived in Taos County for at least on year.

2)  You must have a current housing need.

3)  You must have a willingness to partner.  All partner families put in 500 "sweat equity" hours, building their own homes alongside volunteers and/or helping out in other ways.

4)  You must meet the financial requirements.

Please call the office at 575.758.7827 for more information.  We're happy to speak with you and explain the program.
