First Steps Home Visiting Program

Holy Cross Hospital’s First Steps Home Visitors provide support to women who are pregnant for the first time, and to first-time parents including fathers, adoptive parents and foster families. Taos First Step home visitors foster a healthy transition to parenthood for the first three years of the child’s life. Through one-on-one relationships with their home visitor, parents gain knowledge about nutrition, preventative health care, preschool readiness and access to community resources.
