La Vida helps seniors with physical and/or behavioral health issues by offering personal care, homemaker, and adult day services.
Homecare Services enable seniors to live safely in their own home and avoid the need for moving to a nursing home or other assisted living facility. Our programs promote self-sufficiency among adults who can’t manage key activities of daily living without assistance because of physical or cognitive impairment. Services may include housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, respite services, and errands.
Our adult day center in Socorro, NM assists adults and seniors in becoming integrated and supported in their community. The program provides therapeutic group activities in the areas of social skill development, communication, recreation, education, creative expression, and community inclusion. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9:30-2:00 PM. Transportation is provided to and from the center, and for all community outings. On Tuesdays we operate a center-based respite program for individuals with Alzheimer's or other dementia.
La Vida Felicidad's mission is life quality for children and families, adults, and seniors, through advocacy and individualized services in collaboration with community partnerships.
