The Period of PURPLE Crying program is an evidence based shaken baby syndrome/abusive head trauma prevention program. It has been associated with a 35% decrease in shaken baby syndrome/abusive head trauma when implemented with fidelity.
We offer free online training for implementation of the program. The training goes over how to deliver the program in as little as five minutes and is delivered with a app+booklet given to each family. The app+booklet goes over soothing techniques, safe sleep, postpartum depression, and tracking of baby milestones. It's intended for any organization that deals with parents of infants under two years. Examples of this would be hospitals, home visitors, or doulas.
