Please note: The ECE Coalition is not a direct service provider to whom you can refer children. The Coalition exists to serve the range of ECE providers throughout Doña Ana County and falls under the umbrella of the Success Partnership. The goal of the ECE Coalition is to increase access to quallity early childhood experiences for all families in the county. We accomplish this work through 3 Action Networks, who all work on inter-related goals/projects: Children are born into healthy homes, Children are ready for school, and the ECE workforce is supported.
The ECE Coalition is a county-wide collaboration, whose members are early childhood providers, educators and community members who are invested in a strong early childhood community. The ECE providers involved include licensed and registered child care providers, Pre-K programs, Head Start, Early Intervention, Home Visiting, Parent Education, and more. The full Coalition meets quarterly, and the Action Networks meet monthly in between the Coalition meetings. To get involved, please e-mail Cgillard@lcdfnm.org.
A major project in motion under the ECE coalition is the formation of a children's museum. The first phase of this project is a mobile museum called Vamos Niños: Play to Learn, which launched in 2024. For more information on this project, go to vamosninos.org
