Pegasus represents children and youth in foster care in the 7th Judicial District (Torrance, Socorro, Sierra and Catron Counties), and represents certain youth in foster care in the 2nd Judicial District, by appointment of the court.
Pegasus Legal Services for Children promotes and defends the rights of children and youth to safe and stable homes, quality education and healthcare, and a voice in decisions that affect their lives. We are a private non-profit agency providing civil legal services to children, youth, and their caregivers, including direct representation, community legal education, and policy advocacy.
