The School Zone – Taos (TSZ-Taos) is a collective impact partnership between nonprofits, and public, private and charter schools, engaging students, caregivers, and the Taos community to work together to improve student outcomes.TSZ-Taos is a community-based project launched in June 2015, a multi-year, multi-partner road map for school improvement, guided in part by the working Strategic Plan of Taos Municipal School District, in partnership with the Budd Center at SMU. It is modeled after a very successful evidence-based program and based on the premise of involving communities in education.
