White Sands Habitat for Humanity helps low income families and individuals aquire a newly constructed home with a zero interest mortgage. WSHFH requires the families participate in financial and budget training, homeownership classes. We also require the families to put in 300 hours of "sweat equity" which has them help construct their home along with other partner family homes. Our program is a "Hand Up, not a Hand Out"
