Animal Relief Fund: Provides financial aid for qualifying low-income pet owners who cannot afford to pay for emergency, quality-of-life, or preventive veterinary services. The fund issues vouchers in the amount of $250 each in return for income documentation and a $50 copay; maximum two vouchers per pet, per household, per year. This is the only ongoing program of its type in all of southern New Mexico. We rely on grants, donations and fund-raisers to keep the program running.
