The purpose of Family Services is to provide family orientated services to promote healthy families. As well as promoting safety and wellness for all Santo Domingo Children, Youth, & Families. Family Services Department is comprised of several grant programs: BIA Social Services, BIA ICWA, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), Title IVB, and FVPSA.
Family Services Department goal is to promote social and emotional well-being of children, youth, victims, survivors, and families who have experienced abuse, neglect, maltreatment, violence, and assault and provide effective and culturally relevant services for the Santo Domingo community members.

Santo Domingo Pueblo, also known as Kewa, has been one of the central Pueblo communities in New Mexico and the homelands to many people for thousands of years. Their ancestral ties can be traced back to Mesa Verde and Chaco Canyon ancestors.
